Sorry to all our readers, friends and clients.....I haven't posted here for a while and there are some very important changes to advise.

Firstly an foremost I must report the very sad demise of the Pikkuw mothership!
Readers will know that back in February we relocated her down to Cairns to undertake a major refit. Unfortunately the more we looked, the more we discovered that she had some serious issues in her "bones"...it became evident that to continue down this path was going to cost us a hell of a lot of money. We would have had a boat that cost more to fix, than what she was worth.

Sadly a decision was made to stop works, place her in mothballs and make contingency plans for the upcoming season.

MV Mantaray - mother ship!

Enter the MV Mantaray!

Thanks to good friend, Capt. Kim Andersen, we were able to secure the Mantaray to operate as our base in the Archer River, thus enabling a seamless transition in this part of our operation. Many anglers will already know of the Mantaray, she has been operating a similar live aboard charter ex Weipa for several years. In fact many of our guides, myself included, have worked on this vessel with Capt. Kim and know it well. It will be more than suitable for our needs and can assure client that nothing will be compromised as far as our charter packages / inclusions etc. are concerned.

The Mantaray was relocate down to the Archer, secured to the same mooring location and commenced charter works earlier this month. To date all reports are positive.

Lounge / Dining / Galley...she is spacious

Don't forget that we are still using our new tenders...custom sport fishing punts, so fishing comfort is assured.

I'm on!

Now to the fishing. My biggest problem is getting clients and guides to calm down long enough to send me through those pics. Obviously it must take longer to download an image of a HUGE barra as opposed to downloading a pic of a small one! Only joking of course but I hope you get my drift.

Well that's it for now...just a quick update to ease anyone's concerns on the bones of our operation. Its all go as you can read. But as for the future, well we are researching some very exciting options for the future....more on this later but it juts might incorporate a land based option. Nothing can take away the quality of the fishing experience however...check out the faces of our happy clients.
